Station 41

Command 41(C-41)   

    A 1997 Jeep Cherokee, Fire Chief's vehicle. This apparatus is equipped with radio communications for Law enforcement, Fire, Medical as well as Washington State Department of Emergency Management communications. This apparatus is capable of providing a mobile command post during large scale events.

Engine 41(E-41)             

    A 1984 Mack CF-611, 1000 GPM Pumper. It carries 500 gallons of water, 1000 ft of 3.5" supply line, 800 ft of 2.5" supply line. There are 2 200ft preconnected attack lines, 1 200ft 2.5" attack lines, 1 200ft 2.5" combination supply line, 2 150ft Apartment bundles and 32ft of 2.5" hard suction. This apparatus also carries the Extrication equipment, portable generator, telescoping scene lighting and desmoking fan and various other hand tools and fire equipment. There are 3 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and 3 spare air bottles for 3 interior Firefighters. This apparatus carries the Thermal Imager Camera (TIC) as well as the explosive gas detector.

Tanker 41(T-41)                  

    A 1979 GMC Tractor and a 1967 Fruehauf Trailer. This unit carries 5000 gallons of water,60 ft of 3" hard suction hose as well as a portable pump capable of pumping 250 GPM at 45 psi.

Marine 41(MR-41)     

    A 1984 17 foot Boston Whaler. This unit is used to extricate patients from the shore line or from a boat located in the Hood Canal water way.

Brush 41 (B-41)                  

    A 1986 International S1600 Type 5 Brush Truck. This apparatus was acquired by the department in February of 2008 through the DNR FEPP grant.

This apparatus carries 500 gallons of water and 60 gallons of class A foam concentrate a Waterous PB18 fire pump and a Foam Pro 1600 foam unit. There is a full complement of wildland firefighting tools as well as 2 SCBA to facilitate rescue work in a hazardous environment.

 

Aid 41(A-41)                     

    A 1991 Ford E-350 Ambulance. This Ambulance is equipped to handle up to 2 patients at the same time and provide care from the basic (BLS) through Intermediate (ILS) all the way to Paramedic (ALS) level. This apparatus is also equipped to support 2 interior Firefighters.

Engine 42 (E-42)                 

    A 1981 Mack CF-688, 2000 GPM Pumper. This apparatus carries 500 gallons of water, 1000 ft of 3.5" supply hose and 800 ft of 2.5 " supply hose. There are 2 200 ft preconnected attack lines, 1 2.5" attack line, 2 150 ft apartment bundles and 25 ft of 2.5" hard suction hose and various other hand tools and fire equipment. This unit caries the back up extrication unit, gas powered exhaust fan, a 5kw portable generator and telescoping scene lighting. There are 3 SCBA units and 3 spare bottles for interior firefighting.

Aid 42 (A-42)              

    A 1991 Ford E-350 Ambulance. This Ambulance is equipped to handle up to 2 patients at the same time and provide care from the basic (BLS) through Intermediate (ILS) all the way to Paramedic (ALS) level. This apparatus is also equipped to support 2 interior Firefighters.

Engine 43 (E-43)             

    A 1980 Mack CF-611, 1000 GPM Pumper. This apparatus carries 500 gallons of water, 650 ft of 3.5" supply hose and 600 ft of 2.5 " supply hose. There are 2 200 ft preconnected attack lines, 1 2.5" attack line, 2 150 ft apartment bundles and 25 ft of 2.5" hard suction hose and various other hand tools and fire equipment. This unit carries a 2kw portable generator and telescoping scene lighting. There are 3 SCBA units and 3 spare bottles for interior firefighting.

Aid 43 (A-43)              

    A 1990 Ford E-350 Ambulance. This Ambulance is equipped to handle up to 2 patients at the same time and provide care from the basic (BLS) through Intermediate (ILS) level. This apparatus is scheduled for replacement in the summer of 2008.
