Brinnon Fire Department
Station 41
File of Life Program

The Brinnon Fire Department is a participant in the File of Life Program.  File of Life is a program that allows you to organize important medical information so that it is readily available for emergency responders when they arrive at your home.  This will provide us with necessary information to treat you and to bring to the hospital.  If you are unconscious or unable to speak, it will alllow us to treat your quicker and have important information about your medical history and medications/allergies.

The free kit that we've assembled contains a magnetic pouch for your kitchen, an additional plastic pouch for your vehicle, a small business card sized sleeve for your purse or wallet, and a decal to place in your window to alert responders that you have this information available.

The pouches come with information cards that you complete and keep updated.  Additional blank cards are available at the fire station, if your medical condition or medication list changes.

The free File of Life kits are available at Fire Station 41 on Schoolhouse Road during regular business hours and we keep them on the ambulance as well and can be requested from one of our crews.   If you are unable to visit the fire station, you can call us and we will deliver.
